Η ευλυγισία της πιο εξωτικής δασκάλας γιόγκα εξάπτει τη φαντασία.

Εκπαιδεύτηκε ως χορεύτρια αλλά ένας τραυματισμός το 2006 έμελλε να βάλει φρένο στην καριέρα της. Έτσι μπήκε στη ζωή της η γιόγκα διατηρώντας σε απόλυτη αρμονία και ισορροπία τη σωματική και την πνευματική της υγεία.

Όσοι έχουν παρακολουθήσει τα μαθήματά της δηλώνουν ενθουσιασμένοι αλλά και όσοι την ακολουθούν στο Instagram, θαυμάζουν την ευλυγισία αλλά και το τέλειο κορμί της.  Η καλλονή από το Χονγκ Κονγκ μένει μόνιμα στη Χαβάη και ταξιδεύει συχνά διδάσκοντας ανά τον κόσμο.

?: Oh New York Oh Boy, I have been back in New York for the last week. The distinct scents of this city have been transporting me back through some of my most fond memories of the time I use to spend here. The scent of a city always whispers where you are. The sensation of smell always reminds me where Hawaii is, where LA is and where NY is. Each city has its unique smell. The pheromones of the people that live there define its identity. Its personality. Its culture. New York, just as it was before, as though this place is still part of my daily ‘usual’, I find myself walking through the same building lined Tribeca streets. The streets, still bustling with the swiftness of this city and its people. I am drinking my favorite flavored latte that I use to get every morning. I am back this time of year, trapped in the brisk cold weather that still reminds me of why I left for Hawaii. There is the absence of my chocolate lab BoBo but still everything else is familiar. I close my eyes, and with the inhale of the NY air, I remember my relationship with this city. I am back and I feel drawn by my deep connection and my ability to belong to this city. It is the scent of love for New York as I know it.

?: Built Your Core Before You Can Take Mine We each have our own creative identity. We thread our ideas and weave our passions into a blanket that cloaks our soul. And while we can rip a thread out of someone else’s, forcing their blanket to unravel what we will find still remaining is their core. The very core of their creative soul. As a creative, no matter what industry you are in from fashion design to creative writing there will always be someone who uses your idea in a far too similar way. A business mentor of mine once said to me, “One day when you are doing something great, people are going to copy you very fast. You cannot control that. Instead of allowing yourself to be frustrated tell yourself to sit down and think of better ideas." Reflecting on his words I have come to realize the feeling of being creatively stripped is only draped on the surface. The thing of most value cannot be taken or unraveled, as it is not physical. Instead it is sewn with the experiences of our past and our present. It is our life journey, our story. It is our CORE in its strongest form. And each of us must continue to invest and work on it as it the purest source of power that allows us to create, adapt and keep going.
